When the pandemic hit in 2020, my partner and I suddenly found ourselves parenting full time on top of our full time jobs.
Listening
Children communicate with us in many different ways. Babies turn their heads away when overstimulated, toddlers often adopt “no” as their favorite word, verbal children will often protest and negotiate, and many child-development experts remind us that “all behavior is communication.”
Pursuing Wholeness
As a parent, awareness of and appreciation for our wholeness helps us to accept ourselves as well as the wholeness of our children.
