Parent & Caregiver Resources

I provide coaching to leaders of all sorts, including parents. My approach to parent coaching is to blend insights from child development, mindfulness, and leadership coaching. If you’d like to see if we’re a good fit for working together, you can book a free consult with me.

Here are some of my favorite resources for parents and other caring adults.

Child Development Resources

The Wonder Weeks - Baby Development Book & App (look up The Wonder Weeks on Apple or Google)

The Whole-Brain Child

Louise Bates Ames’ books - Your One-Year-Old, Your Two-Year-Old … on up to Your Ten- to Fourteen-Year-Old - These are old books and some of the advice is not in alignment our current scientific understandings or nonviolent and intentional parenting practices, however, the sections on child development are useful. Here’s a Slate article on why these books from the 1980s are still relevant.

This is a work in progress. Updated on February 7, 2023.
