Here’s my bio for more info about my experience and approach:
Christine E. Petit, PhD has two decades of impact as an organizational leader and founder in nonprofits and community- and labor-organizing. She earned a Doctoral degree in sociology with emphases in race and class inequality and social change.
Christine is a certified coach through Leadership That Works’ Coaching for Transformation program and is an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation. Additionally, she is an Everything DiSC® Authorized Partner and loves to help people and teams understand and maximize their leadership and communication styles.
As an organizational leader, Christine is accomplished in the areas of public policy; fund development; operations and administration; board relations and development; staff and leadership development; strategic visioning, planning, and implementation; and communications and public relations. She has led organizations through significant growth and transformation, including rebranding and expansion of funding, programs, and staffing while providing strategic direction to policy, advocacy, and community organizing efforts.
As a coach, Christine helps her clients tap into their inner wisdom and resourcefulness to take action and create the changes they want to see in their lives from a grounded place. Christine offers coaching to leaders of all types, including providing specialized support to parents and caregivers. She is a mom and advocate for children and families with training in trauma-informed nonviolent parenting, supporting children and families in the child-welfare system, and mental-health first aid.
